Building Engineer


Join a global real estate services provider as a Building Engineer, maintaining critical building systems at a large financial institution. This hands-on position covers preventive maintenance, inspections, emergency repairs, safety, and energy efficiency.

The Role


As the Building Engineer, you'll:

  • Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, and control systems.
  • Complete preventive maintenance and emergency repairs across building machinery and systems.
  • Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems for effective operation.
  • Maintain the energy management program and support efficient system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, safety codes, and building operations requirements.
  • Store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials safely and correctly.
About You

To be successful as the Building Engineer, you'll have:

  • A high school diploma, GED, trade school diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Four to five years of relevant building maintenance experience.
  • Physical capability to climb ladders and lift or carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Strong judgment, organization, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
  • Preferred Universal EPA or CFC certification and any locally required licenses.
  • Ideally, supervisory experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms.
