Join a global real estate services provider as a Building Engineer, maintaining critical building systems at a large financial institution. This hands-on position covers preventive maintenance, inspections, emergency repairs, safety, and energy efficiency.
The Role
As the Building Engineer, you'll:
- Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, and control systems.
- Complete preventive maintenance and emergency repairs across building machinery and systems.
- Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems for effective operation.
- Maintain the energy management program and support efficient system performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, safety codes, and building operations requirements.
- Store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials safely and correctly.
To be successful as the Building Engineer, you'll have:
- A high school diploma, GED, trade school diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Four to five years of relevant building maintenance experience.
- Physical capability to climb ladders and lift or carry at least 50 pounds.
- Strong judgment, organization, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Preferred Universal EPA or CFC certification and any locally required licenses.
- Ideally, supervisory experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms.
- $84,500 per year.
- Permanent employment.
- First-shift working pattern.
- On-site position in Chester, VA.
