A Maintenance Technician is needed to support building operations within a healthcare environment in Richmond, Virginia. You'll complete preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and general building systems.
This permanent role suits a hands-on maintenance professional with practical mechanical experience who can support safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations.
The Role
As the Maintenance Technician, you'll:
- Complete preventive maintenance and repairs across mechanical and electrical building systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnose equipment faults, and complete necessary repairs.
- Assist with building equipment and system installations and modifications.
- Manage work orders and accurately record completed maintenance activities.
- Support efficient operation of building systems and energy management initiatives.
- Inspect installations for compliance with relevant building codes and safety requirements.
To be successful as the Maintenance Technician, you'll have:
- A high school diploma, GED, trade school diploma, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years' relevant maintenance or facilities experience.
- Practical mechanical knowledge within a fast-paced working environment.
- Experience using a CMMS or similar system to manage maintenance work orders.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Current US work authorization without present or future visa sponsorship requirements.
- $52,000 annual salary.
- Permanent position based in Richmond, Virginia.
- Approximately 40–45 working hours per week.
