Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician (Door Tech) in the Round Rock, TX, you'll maintain small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems and equipment. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs and checks that building systems operate efficiently and safely.
The Role
As the Maintenance Technician, you'll:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and other building systems.
- Inspect equipment, diagnose problems and carry out repairs.
- Assist with installing and modifying building equipment and systems.
- Review work orders and track their completion using available systems.
- Check that building systems operate efficiently to support energy management.
- Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
To be successful as the Maintenance Technician, you'll have:
- A high school diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
- The ability to stand, walk, stoop, climb stairs or ladders, and lift or carry at least 50 lbs.
- The ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
- Clear communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive approach.
- $50,000–$58,000 per year.
- Permanent employment.
- Location: Round Rock, TX.
