A successful privately owned commercial landscaping and snow management business is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Massachusetts and the wider New England market.

This is a true hunter role focused on developing new client relationships, building a strong pipeline, and securing recurring commercial service contracts while partnering closely with account management teams.

The Role
 
As the Business Development Manager, you'll:
  • Develop new business opportunities across Massachusetts and the wider New England market.
  • Build relationships with commercial property, facilities, and real estate decision-makers.
  • Generate and manage a strong pipeline of prospective commercial clients.
  • Secure recurring landscaping, grounds maintenance, and snow management contracts.
  • Develop tailored solutions through a consultative, relationship-led sales approach.
  • Partner with Account Managers to support successful client relationships and service delivery.
About You
 
To be successful as the Business Development Manager, you'll have:
  • Proven business development experience within commercial landscaping or related exterior services.
  • Demonstrated success winning new commercial contracts and recurring service agreements.
  • Strong experience engaging property managers, facilities managers, and real estate stakeholders.
  • A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive hunter mentality with a strong focus on new business generation.
Experience within grounds maintenance, snow and ice management, tree care, irrigation, or property maintenance services is highly relevant.
