A successful privately owned commercial landscaping and snow management business is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Massachusetts and surrounding markets.

This is a hunter-focused sales role, building relationships with commercial clients and securing recurring landscaping, grounds maintenance, and snow and ice management contracts.

The Role
 
As the Business Development Manager, you'll:
  • Develop and execute a new business strategy across Massachusetts and surrounding markets.
  • Prospect and secure commercial landscaping and snow management opportunities.
  • Build relationships with property, facilities, real estate, healthcare, and education decision-makers.
  • Generate a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
  • Conduct site visits and develop tailored service proposals for prospective clients.
  • Lead presentations, proposals, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
About You
 
To be successful as the Business Development Manager, you'll have:
  • Proven business development experience within commercial landscaping or related exterior services.
  • Demonstrated success winning new commercial contracts and recurring service agreements.
  • Strong relationships with commercial property, facilities, or real estate stakeholders.
  • A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Excellent networking, consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to developing and winning new business.
Experience within grounds maintenance, snow and ice management, tree care, irrigation, or property maintenance services is also highly relevant.
