Maintenance Technician

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a stable Monday–Friday position in Midlothian, VA? We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift to support building operations within a critical medical environment.

You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to keep the facility operating safely and reliably.

The Role

As the Maintenance Technician, you will:

Complete preventive maintenance and repairs across building systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing issues.
Carry out general commercial building maintenance and repairs.
Inspect equipment and identify potential faults before they impact operations.
Complete and update assigned work orders.
Support the efficient and compliant operation of facility systems.

About You

To be successful as the Maintenance Technician, you’ll have:

1–2+ years of maintenance, facilities or building services experience.
High School Diploma, GED, trade school qualification or equivalent experience.
Practical experience with general building maintenance.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and follow established safety procedures.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
