Boden Talent is partnering with a leading organization in
Virginia to recruit a
Director of Facilities to take ownership of facilities and physical plant operations across a commercial property.
The Role As the Director of Facilities, you’ll:
- Lead day-to-day facilities and physical plant operations.
- Manage and develop an established facilities and maintenance team.
- Oversee HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Lead facility upgrades, renovations, and capital projects.
- Manage contractors, vendors, budgets, and facilities expenditure.
- Maintain emergency preparedness and operational continuity.
- Drive improvements across maintenance, reliability, and overall facility performance.
You To be successful, you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of facilities, physical plant, or engineering leadership experience.
- Strong technical knowledge across HVAC and MEP systems.
- Experience leading facilities, maintenance, or engineering teams.
- Contractor and vendor management experience.
- Experience delivering capital projects and facility improvements.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A relevant degree or technical qualification is preferred.
