Laboratory Services Coordinator

A Laboratory Services Coordinator is required to support equipment, documentation, and day-to-day operations within a fast-paced life sciences laboratory environment in New York City.
You'll coordinate equipment servicing and availability, maintain compliance records, and work with scientific teams and service providers to keep laboratory operations running effectively.
The Role
As the Laboratory Services Coordinator, you'll:
- Coordinate laboratory equipment installations, maintenance, calibrations, and relocations.
- Support daily equipment setup and ensure availability for laboratory teams.
- Coordinate consumable and solvent replenishment as required.
- Review equipment certification records and maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
- Support equipment certification reviews and associated documentation and training.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and service providers to coordinate effective service delivery.
To be successful as the Laboratory Services Coordinator, you'll have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to two years of relevant laboratory, facilities, life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or technical experience.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience within a regulated or GxP environment would be advantageous.
- $75,000–$95,000 annual salary.
