An experienced HVAC Engineer is required to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize complex commercial HVAC systems in Wilson, NC.

This hands-on role combines preventive maintenance, controls expertise, performance testing, and technical leadership across mechanical and electrical building systems.

The Role
 
As the HVAC Engineer, you'll:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot complex commercial HVAC and associated building systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electric and pneumatic HVAC control systems.
  • Calibrate instruments, gauges, controls, and related system components.
  • Complete preventive maintenance and performance testing across HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and recommend appropriate repairs or modifications.
  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure work is completed on schedule.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Coach colleagues and share technical knowledge across engineering disciplines.
About You
 
To be successful as the HVAC Engineer, you'll have:
  • A high school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years' relevant experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong commercial HVAC maintenance, controls, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience with electric or pneumatic HVAC control systems.
  • Previous shift management or supervisory experience would be preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements, including lifting 50 lbs or more.
