Mobile HVAC Engineer

As a Mobile HVAC Engineer in the Austin, TX, you'll maintain mechanical and electrical equipment serving commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities. The work includes routine inspections, non-routine faults and compliance with applicable safety standards.

The Role

As the Mobile HVAC Engineer, you'll:
  • Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment in line with applicable codes and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs or modifications.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems and associated electrical distribution and plumbing systems.
  • Complete preventive and emergency maintenance, keeping required repair records.
  • Share technical knowledge with colleagues and explain solutions clearly to clients.
About You

To be successful as the Mobile HVAC Engineer, you'll have:
  • A high school diploma, GED or trade school diploma and 4–5 years of related experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
  • Ideally, prior shift manager or supervisory experience.
  • The ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, and lift or carry loads of 50 lb or more.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and numerical skills.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
