As Engineering Director – BOS and IoT Programs in New York, you'll lead smart building technology programs across a multi-regional facilities portfolio. You'll guide building systems integration and IoT connectivity while working with senior stakeholders and leading a specialist engineering team.

The Role

As the Engineering Director, you'll:

 

  • Lead the development and delivery of Building Operating Systems (BOS) programs.
  • Oversee Building Management Systems (BMS) integration, IoT connectivity and building controls.
  • Develop operational support processes that meet network security and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Implement Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD) to improve energy efficiency and asset performance.
  • Manage program milestones, budgets, governance and executive-level reporting.
  • Advise senior stakeholders and lead a team with four or more direct reports.

About You

To be successful as the Engineering Director, you'll have:

 

 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in controls engineering, building automation and facilities engineering.
  • Essential advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Automated Logic (ALC) controllers.
  • Experience delivering multi-regional BOS or IoT programs and leading specialist engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS, BOS, IoT infrastructure and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Experience with network security compliance, technical asset management and FDD technologies.
  • An engineering-related bachelor's degree, or extensive relevant experience supported by technical qualifications.
  • Proficiency with Corrigo CMMS, Google Workspace and executive-level reporting.
  • A Professional Engineer license or equivalent would be advantageous.
