A leading organization is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Knoxville, Iowa, to help maintain building systems, equipment, and facilities while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
The Role As the Maintenance Technician, you’ll:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections, diagnose faults, and complete repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment.
  • Review work orders and accurately track completion.
  • Support energy efficiency across building systems.
  • Inspect installations for compliance with relevant safety and building regulations.
  • Follow established maintenance procedures and engineering standards.
You To be successful, you’ll bring:
  • High School Diploma, GED, trade school diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of relevant maintenance or facilities experience.
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and general building systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting 50 lbs. or more.
