Our client is seeking an experienced
HVAC Technician to support the maintenance and performance of commercial HVAC systems at their facility. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting proactive equipment testing, completing scheduled preventative maintenance, and carrying out repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
This position sits within the
Engineering and Technical Services function, supporting critical building systems through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and reactive repairs.
Location: Concord, NC
Shift: Nights (x4 positions available)
What You’ll Do - Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used in building operations, including HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on building HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for repair or modification.
- Follow established procedures to solve straightforward technical issues with limited discretion.
- Carry out clearly defined duties and tasks under close supervision and guidance.
- Deliver work outputs by following set processes and maintenance schedules.
What You’ll Need - High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma, with 1–2 years of relevant experience. (A combination of experience and education will also be considered.)
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines, processes, and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to share clear and straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive, problem-solving mindset.
