Electrician


In this role, you’ll oversee electrical and lighting systems, ensure safe and efficient operations, develop preventative maintenance plans, and deliver dependable service across a commercial facility environment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians looking to grow within a stable, professional setting.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee the operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including new equipment installations.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace electrical components such as valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and piping.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot medium and low voltage switchgear, panelboards, and breakers (including breaker injection testing).
  • Interpret and work from electrical line drawings, panel schedules, breaker sizing, and trip settings.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained safely in accordance with NFPA 70E standards and industry best practices.
  • Review maintenance history to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Apply technical expertise to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Work within established procedures while exercising sound judgment on moderately complex problems.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma.
  • 3–5+ years of commercial electrical experience (formal apprenticeship preferred).
  • Master Electrician license (advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Electrical line drawings and panel numbering
    • Breaker sizing and trip settings
    • Medium and low voltage switchgear
    • AC/DC control wiring
    • Electrical maintenance including switchgear and panelboards
    • NFPA 70E requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs. or more.
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
