Are you ready to lead engineering at a global scale? A market-leading organization is seeking a Global Engineering Director in Mountain View, CA, to own enterprise-wide engineering strategy, infrastructure, and technical operations in a highly visible leadership role.
The Role As Global Engineering Director, you will set the vision and execution strategy for global engineering, facilities infrastructure, and technical services across multiple regions.
- Define and lead the global engineering and infrastructure strategy aligned to long-term business growth and innovation objectives.
- Build, mentor, and lead senior engineering leaders across regions and technical disciplines, creating a high-performance global organization.
- Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, asset management standards, and enterprise risk management across all engineering functions.
- Act as a trusted executive partner to R&D, operations, workplace, EHS, and real estate leadership at a global level.
- Oversee large-scale capital programs including new builds, expansions, and complex retrofits, with full ownership of budgets, schedules, and delivery performance.
You This Global Engineering Director role is suited to a senior engineering leader with strong executive presence and deep technical credibility. - 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, facilities, or infrastructure roles within technology, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, or mission-critical environments.
- Deep expertise in highly technical and mission-critical building systems, including HVAC, MEP, utilities, and specialized environments.
- Proven experience leading large, complex capital programs across multiple regions and global portfolios.
- Strong financial acumen with ownership of multi-million-dollar capital and operating budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at the C-suite and board level, partnering effectively with senior stakeholders across the enterprise.
