The Role
As the Critical Facilities Director, you’ll: - Provide leadership and oversight for preventative and corrective maintenance activities on laboratory support systems.
- Own and manage the change management control process for planned maintenance, ensuring effective communication.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of MEP infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 reliability and operational performance.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical facility operations.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership on system reliability and vendor activity.
You
To be successful in the role of Critical Facilities Director, you’ll bring: - At least 7 years of experience in critical facilities operations within laboratory or cleanroom environments.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Strong expertise in critical MEP systems, like UPS, generators, and HVAC.
- Proven vendor management skills and experience with change management controls.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
