Boden Talent is partnering with a leading organization to hire an Occupancy Planning Lead based in Manhattan. This strategic role will lead occupancy and space planning across U.S. locations, helping the business optimize its real estate footprint while supporting growth, workplace experience, and evolving business needs.
The Role As the Occupancy Planning Lead, you’ll:
- Lead occupancy planning and workplace strategy across a multi-site U.S. portfolio.
- Analyze headcount forecasts, utilization data, and business requirements to determine current and future space needs.
- Develop space allocation, footprint, and reconfiguration strategies to improve utilization and control real estate costs.
- Coordinate test fits for existing and potential new properties.
- Partner with Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, HR, IT, and business leaders to deliver workplace solutions.
- Support relocations, lease renewals, renovations, and wider real estate projects.
- Maintain accurate occupancy data using CAFM/IWMS platforms and produce reporting for senior leadership.
- Track project budgets, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support workplace change management and employee communications.
- Utilize AI and emerging technologies to improve workplace analysis, reporting, and planning.
You To be successful, you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in occupancy planning, space management, workplace strategy, or corporate real estate.
- Experience supporting a multi-site U.S. or Americas real estate portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of space utilization, portfolio optimization, and workplace planning.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and CAFM/IWMS technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
- Excellent project management and senior stakeholder communication skills.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Familiarity with AI tools for analysis, planning, and reporting.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
