Our client—a leading hard-services-led facilities management provider—is seeking an Operations Command Center Specialist in New York. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining optimal site performance by monitoring and analyzing building systems, ensuring efficient operations and supporting critical research environments.
The Role
 
As the Operations Command Center Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in:
  • Monitoring site systems to ensure optimal campus conditions.
  • Investigating system abnormalities and coordinating corrective actions with internal and external teams
  • Supporting R&D operations by managing facility systems to meet research requirements.
  • Providing clear, timely communication to property management, FM teams, engineers, and security personnel.
  • Ensuring rapid response to maintenance needs and external conditions, including emergency escalation when necessary
 
YOU 
 
To be successful in the role of Operations Command Center Specialist, you’ll bring:
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience, or 5+ years with a Bachelor’s in engineering, facility management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, building management systems, and commercial facilities operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IWMS platforms.
  • Flexibility to work holidays and respond to emergency situations 24/7.
