About the Role As the
Healthcare Facilities Management Director, you’ll:
- Lead strategic and day-to-day operations across engineering, maintenance, and construction functions
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, OSHA, and other regulatory standards
- Oversee capital project planning, physical plant upgrades, and major infrastructure initiatives
- Manage budgets and implement utility and energy-saving programmes
- Act as a trusted partner to hospital leadership, regulatory bodies, and external vendors
Your Skills To be successful in the role of
Healthcare Facilities Management Director, you’ll bring:
- At least 5 years’ experience at Director level in facilities leadership within acute care hospitals
- Deep knowledge of healthcare engineering systems, codes, and compliance frameworks (TJC, CMS, NFPA, EPA, ADA)
- Strong team leadership and performance management abilities
- Expertise in CMMS systems, project planning, and vendor relations
- A Certified Health Care Facility Manager (CHFM) credential is highly desirable
