Building Engineer

Are you an experienced Building Engineer with strong hands-on knowledge across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems?

A leading organization is seeking a Building Engineer in King of Prussia, PA to maintain building operations, resolve technical issues, and ensure facilities remain safe, efficient, and reliable.
The Role As the Building Engineer, you’ll:

Perform planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, and life safety systems.
Inspect building systems, identify faults, and complete repairs to maintain reliable operations.
Support preventive maintenance programs designed to maximize equipment and asset life.
Respond to emergency maintenance requirements and troubleshoot complex building issues.
Monitor HVAC, fire alarm, plumbing, and control systems to ensure they operate within required parameters.
Support energy management initiatives and improve building system efficiency.
Ensure work complies with relevant codes, regulations, safety procedures, and operational standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including appropriate handling of hazardous materials.
Share technical knowledge and provide guidance to other team members where required.

You To be successful in the role of Building Engineer, you’ll bring:

4–5 years of relevant building engineering or maintenance experience.
High School Diploma, GED, trade school qualification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge across multiple building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls, and life safety systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Previous supervisory or shift leadership experience would be beneficial.
Universal CFC certification is preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working from stairs or ladders.
Any licenses or certifications required by local or state regulations.
