The Role As the Building Engineer, you’ll:
- Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and life safety systems to meet applicable standards.
- Comply with all codes and regulations related to building operations and safety.
- Maintain energy management programs to ensure system efficiency.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of building systems.
- Review inspection reports and ensure all systems operate within design capabilities.
You To be successful in the role of Building Engineer, you’ll bring:
- A High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- 1st or 2nd Fireman License for MA is required.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting heavy loads.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.
