About the Role: Boden Talent is proud to be working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced HVAC Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems across various facilities, focusing on proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.
This position falls within the Engineering and Technical Services function, where the primary focus is on delivering preventive maintenance, system support, and equipment repairs.
What You’ll Do: - Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used in building systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend modifications to improve system performance.
- Use established procedures to address straightforward technical issues with limited discretion.
- Carry out tasks and duties that are clearly defined and described in detail.
- Follow standard processes and procedures under close supervision and guidance to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
What You’ll Need: - High School Diploma, GED, or trade school qualification with 1–2 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 lbs or more.
- Ability to adhere to basic work routines and safety standards.
- Clear communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
