The Role As the Business Development Manager, you’ll:
- Develop and expand the overall client base by marketing custodial and maintenance services to diverse commercial sectors, including office, industrial, and educational facilities.
- Research and prospect potential clients, proactively scheduling face-to-face presentations with high-level decision-makers and influencers.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs, developing value-added propositions and generating complex pricing models and proposals.
- Manage sales activity and scheduling with precision using Salesforce.com to track progress and performance.
- Enhance business visibility by representing our client at trade shows, corporate events, and various networking activities.
You To be successful in the role of Business Development Manager, you’ll bring:
- A proven B2B sales track record, having met or exceeded annual quotas for at least five years.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating closely with operations.
- Exceptional prospecting and marketing expertise, with a history of involvement in pertinent professional associations.
- The ability to build long-term relationships, supported by excellent networking skills and a professional demeanor.
- Required credentials, including a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check and drug test; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
