We’re hiring a Director of Facilities Management in Irving, TX to play a pivotal leadership role in the next phase of a national facilities maintenance business. This is a senior opportunity for an FM leader who thrives in high-volume environments and wants real influence over how an operation grows.
The Role As Director of Facilities Management, you will take ownership of national, multi-client service delivery across a diverse portfolio of facilities. This role sits at senior leadership level, with clear scope to grow into broader Director or VP responsibility as the business continues to scale.
In this role, the Director of Facilities Management will: - Lead a team of 8–10 Account Managers and Project Coordinators, driving performance, accountability, and service delivery standards
- Oversee delivery across 30+ active client accounts, acting as the senior escalation point for client issues
- Serve as a subject matter expert in client and sales meetings, providing operational credibility and supporting growth initiatives
- Bring structure, process, and pace to a fast-moving, reactive FM environment
- Identify and implement process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and smarter ways of working
- Use data and reporting to identify trends, improve performance, and enhance service outcomes
You To succeed as Director of Facilities Management, you’ll bring a strong service-provider background and the confidence to lead in complex, multi-client environments.
You’ll bring: - Proven experience in facilities management leadership within a multi-site, multi-client environment
- A background with a facilities services provider (not client-side FM)
- Experience leading and developing teams in fast-paced, high-volume operations
- Strong operational knowledge across multiple FM trades and service lines
- Solid data, reporting, and Microsoft Excel skills
- A commercially minded, solutions-focused approach with comfort operating in ambiguity and driving change
