The Role


As the Building Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
  • Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to extend the lifespan of building systems.
  • Maintain an energy management program, ensuring all systems operate efficiently.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of job disciplines to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Impact various customer and operational activities within your team and related teams.

To be successful in the role of Building Engineer, you'll have the following skills and experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 4-5 years of job-related experience; Universal CFC certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products and sophisticated math skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting heavy loads.
  • Good judgment based on the analysis of multiple information sources.
