Senior Account Director


Boden Talent is partnering with our client to appoint a Senior Account Director to lead a high-value, single-customer Facilities Management (FM) account in New York.

This is a senior leadership position with full operational and commercial responsibility for delivering integrated hard and soft FM services. As the primary point of contact for the client, you will ensure financial and contractual commitments are consistently met while driving service excellence, innovation, and long-term account growth.

The Role The Senior Account Director will oversee all aspects of account performance, including operations, people management, financial control, governance, and strategic development. You will build robust client relationships across multiple levels and ensure a best-in-class service model is delivered across the portfolio.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Client Leadership
  • Strategic Direction: Provide leadership to ensure all contractual commitments are achieved and exceeded.
  • Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary lead for all operational and compliance matters.
  • Service Oversight: Oversee all service lines, including preventative/reactive maintenance, vendor services, helpdesk operations, soft services, and project works.
  • Account Growth: Identify and deliver organic growth opportunities through extra works and specialized project delivery.
  • Relationship Management: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual client reviews to maintain high-level engagement.
  • Governance: Implement robust audit and compliance frameworks and ensure optimal staffing structures.
  • Communication: Deliver high-quality reporting, financial summaries, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
People Leadership
  • Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Talent Management: Drive employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Workforce Planning: Oversee hiring decisions and training plans to support workload fluctuations.
Finance & Commercial
  • P&L Responsibility: Full accountability for account revenue, profit, WIP, debt, and cost control.
  • Commercial Governance: Ensure financial accuracy and oversee supply chain management, including supplier negotiations.
  • Compliance: Review purchase orders to ensure strict contractual and financial alignment.
QHSE & Compliance
  • Safety Standards: Ensure a safe, compliant working environment and maintain rigorous health and safety standards.
  • Procedures: Oversee environmental health, safety, and emergency response procedures.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations through periodic quality assurance inspections.
About You We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management leader with sharp commercial acumen and a proven track record of managing complex, multi-site accounts.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or Account Leadership.
  • Financials: Demonstrated experience managing a full P&L.
  • Environment: Experience within a matrixed or multi-site operational environment.
  • Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

  • Reports to: Business Unit Director.
  • Key Internal Partnerships: Finance & Operations Support Manager and Business Operations Manager.
