Sr Regional Facilities Manager

Our client, a leading global workplace solutions provider, is seeking a dynamic Senior Regional Facilities Manager to oversee a critical GMP Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical facility. Based primarily at a flagship campus in Branchburg, NJ, with occasional travel to a secondary site in Madison, NJ, this role is crucial to ensuring real estate supports maximum productivity and performance for their clients.
  
The Role   
As a Senior Regional Facilities Manager, you'll:
  • Provide formal leadership and supervision for engineering and facilities teams, managing performance reviews, hiring, training, and mentoring to foster a high-performing environment.
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple facilities, assigning tasks, creating schedules, and ensuring all maintenance, repairs, and project deadlines are met.
  • Manage all client relationships, leading meetings on operational performance, addressing facility-related concerns, and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Lead the planning and execution of capital projects, effectively managing operating budgets and variance reporting to optimize financial performance.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure strict regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvements in operations, safety, and developing robust EHS procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships, overseeing procurement processes, and approving invoices for parts, services, and labor.
  
What We're Looking For   
To be successful in the role of Senior Regional Facilities Manager, you'll bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 5–8 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • A strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) background, with hands-on experience highly preferred.
  • Prior experience managing both hard and soft FM services.
  • Experience in regulated Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or R&D/Manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  • A proven track record in staff leadership, development, and retention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing sensitive and complex information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
