The Role
As the Operating Engineer, you will: - Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building.
- Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, and cooling towers.
- Inspect engine room equipment, cooling tower, and backup generator.
- Document and report activities to the supervisor.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations, including equipment failures.
You To be successful in the role of Operating Engineer, you'll have the following skills and experience: - Third Degree Stationary Operator's License issued by the City of Omaha.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant job experience.
- Meet physical requirements including lifting heavy loads.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
