Are you an experienced Electrician Building Operator with strong electrical maintenance and building operations experience? We’re recruiting for an Electrician Building Operator to join a leading Facilities Management organisation supporting a critical medical facility in Toronto.
This is a hands-on position combining electrical maintenance with wider building operations, ensuring essential electrical, HVAC, mechanical and life-safety systems remain safe, reliable and operational.
The Role
As the Electrician Building Operator, you will:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and lighting systems.
- Complete electrical installations, repairs and equipment replacements.
- Support HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and building control systems.
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance across the facility.
- Complete fire pump runs and generator testing.
- Respond to equipment failures and urgent maintenance requirements.
- Ensure work complies with relevant codes, regulations and safety requirements.
About You To be successful as the Electrician Building Operator, you’ll have:
- 3–4+ years of electrical maintenance or building operations experience.
- A valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician Licence.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and general building systems.
- Experience within healthcare, commercial or critical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety and regulatory compliance.
- A valid driver’s licence.
