We're recruiting for a Senior Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of government and commercial properties based in Chantilly, Virginia.

The Role

 
As Senior Property Manager, you will:
  • Lead the day-to-day management of a portfolio of government and commercial office properties, ensuring exceptional operational performance and customer service.
  • Manage operating and capital budgets, financial forecasting, CAM reconciliations, and cost control initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, government stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to ensure outstanding service delivery.
  • Oversee property maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, capital improvements, and vendor performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop property management teams while ensuring compliance with lease obligations, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
You
 
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
  • 10+ years of commercial property management experience, ideally within government-leased or institutional real estate portfolios.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience managing property management teams.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, operating expenses, and capital planning.
  • Excellent client relationship, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
It would also be beneficial if you have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • BOMA Real Property Administrator (RPA), IREM Certified Property Manager (CPM), or a similar industry designation.
  • Experience working with government contracts and compliance requirements.
