Are you an experienced commercial HVAC professional looking to step away from the tools without leaving the industry? We're recruiting for an HVAC Specialist to join a leading national facilities maintenance organization in a fully remote role supporting commercial facilities across the United States.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical HVAC background who wants to use their expertise to review repair proposals, validate scopes of work, negotiate with contractors, and support operations teams. You'll remain at the center of technical decision-making while enjoying a Monday-Friday schedule and the flexibility of working remotely.
The Role As HVAC Specialist, you will: - Review complex commercial HVAC quotes, repair proposals, scopes of work, and invoices for technical accuracy and value.
- Validate equipment replacement recommendations, diagnoses, and contractor pricing.
- Negotiate labor, materials, scope, and costs with service providers to achieve the best commercial outcome.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Operations teams on complex HVAC repairs and maintenance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring repairs are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: - 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience in service, maintenance, estimating, project management, or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, systems, troubleshooting, and repair methodologies.
- Experience reviewing contractor quotes, repair scopes, and equipment replacement recommendations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with strong commercial awareness.
- Experience using CMMS platforms such as ServiceChannel, Corrigo, or similar systems is an advantage.
