Boden Talent is partnering with a global leader to appoint an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead one of its most significant Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical client partnerships.


This executive leadership opportunity carries responsibility for a business generating up to $500M in annual revenue and supporting a workforce of approximately 800-1,200 employees. As the Chief Operating Officer, you will drive operational performance, commercial growth, client success, and long-term strategic development across a complex, high-profile account.


The Opportunity

 
Reporting as the COO for a major pharmaceutical client account, you will:
  • Lead a large-scale, multi-functional operation delivering critical services across the account.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that drive operational excellence, efficiency, and growth.
  • Serve as the senior executive contact, building trusted relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a workforce of approximately 800-1,200 employees through a team of senior leaders.
  • Maintain accountability for financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and governance.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, service expansion, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion transformation initiatives that enhance performance, innovation, and client outcomes.
About You
 
We're seeking a proven Chief Operating Officer, senior operations executive, or business leader with experience managing complex client-facing operations at scale.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
  • Experience managing large-scale operations with significant revenue and P&L responsibility.
  • Proven success leading strategic client accounts and high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and operational leadership capabilities.
  • Experience driving organizational change, transformation, and business growth.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Services, Integrated Facilities Management, Healthcare Services, or other outsourced service environments is highly desirable.
