The Role As the Building Engineer, you’ll:
- Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, and other systems to meet operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and company directives for safety and efficiency.
- Maintain the energy management program ensuring systems operate efficiently.
- Implement preventive maintenance to maximize the lifespan of machinery and systems.
- Review building systems to ensure equipment functions optimally and environmental conditions are met.
You To be successful in the role of Building Engineer, you’ll bring:
- High School Diploma or trade school diploma with relevant job experience.
- Universal CFC certification preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting heavy loads.
- Prior shift management or supervisory experience is a plus.
